We are hiring full time and part time shifts for Ground Service Agents and Passenger Service Agents at BOS Logan International Airport!

 

* Weekly pay, 401(K), paid time off, paid training and company uniforms*

 

Ground Service Agents pay rate $20.00 (after 90 days $20.25)

Passenger Service Agents pay rate $19.00 (after 120 days $20.00)

When: Tuesday June 3rd and Wednesday June 4th 

Time: 10:00am-3:00pm

Location: 175 McClellan Highway, East Boston, Ma 02128

You Will

Ramp Agents

  • Guiding inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate
  • Lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting passenger bags and cargo to/from aircraft, bag carts, dollies, and conveyor belts
  • Driving and/or operating ground support equipment, such as tow tractors, tow bars, belt loaders, container loaders, baggage tugs and more.
  • Maintaining safety and security on the ramp and practicing all safety policies and procedures
  • Communicating efficiently with ground personnel and flight crews
  • Maintaining an understanding of and following all applicable federal, state, airport, and company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Working with other departments to ensure on-time performance of flights
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Including but not limited to standing, lifting, bending, stooping, walking, crawling, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • Push, pull, lift, and load up to 70 pounds (32 kg) on a regular basis
  • Ascend/descend jet-way stairs while carrying baggage
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labels
  • Ability to understand and react to verbal and visual commands and safety warnings, with and without assistance of sight or visual aids
  • Work outside in inclement weather

Passenger Service Agents

  • Electronic check-in of passengers for international travel
  • Verification of documents for international and domestic flights
  • Assign passenger seats
  • Ensure correct boarding passes are provided to each passenger for the assigned flight
  • Verify ticket and seat reservations
  • Match manifest to on-board count
  • Announce arrivals and departures as necessary
  • Provide information to passengers/customers as requested
  • Connect/disconnect Jetway/stairs as necessary
  • Assist with baggage tagging and baggage claim reports
  • Maintain current knowledge of all flight times during designated shift
  • Maintain liaison with Airlines, Customer Service Representatives and Ground Handlers
  • Performing other duties as assigned

 

 

You Have

  • Possess/maintain FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations
  • Must be able to pass SIDA airport and training tests
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Possess basic computer literacy
  • ability to lift up to 70lbs
