You Will

The Financial Planning Analyst in addition to a key role in the preparation of monthly accounts for a number of business units, will also have a central role in the management of the US business’s rolling forecast, annual budgeting, and general analysis support for decision makers in the business. This will include but not limited to preparation of weekly and monthly accounts, variance analyses to budget and forecast, KPIs, and risks/opportunities analyses. Will also be assigned to work on key business projects in systems development, new business proposals and operational performance improvement

 

Essential

  • Perform monthly financial review, generating accruals and prepayments and business unit Profit Statements for review and approval.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Maintain communications and develops relationships with operational leadership
  • Perform financial forecasting and reporting alongside operational management, using corporate forecasting models.
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Analyze past results, performance variance analyses, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation/maintenance of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
  • Responsible for maintaining the core models used for monthly management reporting.
  • Creates and prepares tables/spreadsheets, models and presentations.
  • Conducts research, aggregates data and prepares effective reporting.
  • Executes ADHOC requests for information expeditiously and accurately.
  • Conducting quality assurance on imported data to ensure accuracy.
  • Special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
