Provides intermediate level of technical support and problem-solving assistance, consulting with all users within the company performing in-depth research, analysis, and problem diagnosis, consulting with internal and external technical staff/vendors related to hardware, software, and system functionality specifications.

 

Compensation:

68K-85K (DOE) 

 

You Will

Responsible for configuring and setting-up PC workstations including image creation and maintenance, user/email accounts, and access permissions to the client’s applications and data; procurement of software, hardware, and other IT-related resources; website modifications and updates; mobile device setups including procurement of devices and configuration of management software; and training of end-users.

 

  • Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions
  • Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
  • Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
  • Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
  • Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
  • Hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
  • Proactively monitor health of all networks to ensure maximum up time
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level investigation and resolution of network and firewall incidents, problems, and support
  • Implement necessary network and firewall changes
  • Plan and develop automated solutions for company processes
  • Participate in operational on-call rotation for critical support

You Have

  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field of study
  • Two to five years of experience with business processes, project management and process improvement techniques
  • Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Proactive approach to take initiative with little direction at times and the desire to solve problems
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment by prioritizing and multi-tasking
  • Desktop support or related experience
  • Previous experience of running and terminating Low Voltage and Fiber Cable
  • Solid understanding of Ticketing System
  • Strong familiarity with Desktop Imaging
  • Command of Desktop Operating System
  • Foundational knowledge in Desktop Hardware
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, Office 365 suite, including SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki products
  • Project Management experience preferred
