You Will

Influential leadership position in Air Cargo operations at DFW ensuring the full compliance with One dnata global cargo facilities’ standards along with the development and implementation of Operational Standards/programs, to include dnata’s Cargo Operations Manual and Safety Management System. Lead Cargo Management Systems implementation like iCargo or any other CMS or WMS as per global dnata protocols. Conducts self-audits and act as company’s focal for Regulatory compliance audits from TSA, CBP, Agriculture, USDA, and any other applicable compliance protocols. Dedicated to the design, development, implementation of a compliant, systems oriented, safe, accident free, and healthy work environment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design, review, communication, and implementation of Cargo SOPs, work instructions and KPIs in the Cargo Division based on Regulatory compliance protocols, customer requirements, SMS, regulatory and industry standards.
  • Maintains TSA, CBP and other regulatory compliance, processes, systems, controls, and protocols to ensure all operations remain fully compliant with all relevant regulatory, company, industry requirements.
  • Maintains compliance levels by regular audits, assessments, and trainings.
  • Facilitate and represent the Cargo Division in regular audits (Regulatory and Airlines).
  • Responsible for the updating and maintenance of records as per regulatory and company compliance protocols.
  • Responsible for rolling out dCOM (dnata Cargo Operations Manual), updating the Operations Manual and ensuring overall compliance.
  • Act as key focal person to coordinate with dnata HDQs, keeping the management constantly apprised of modifications in dCOM.
  • Responsible for the coordination and facilitation of the Training of the Operational Teams, ensuring Training needs are met for dCOM and other requisite training required by dnata, customers and regulatory requirements.
  • Regional/Local STCs, supports the implementation of safety policies and procedures to be followed by Company personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal occupational safety and health, environmental, and security requirements, *reports directly to Station/ALX Management.
  • Responsible for rolling out Cargo Systems under the guidelines of global teams.
  • Coordinates, performs, and oversees on-the-job training programs.
  • Participates and supports the investigation of accidents, injuries and environmental incidents and cooperates in the preparation of material and evidence to identify root causes for the purpose of developing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Critical part of the base safety & compliance board
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum Five (5) years of experience in the Aviation Cargo industry.
  • Develop and maintain the technical skills and capabilities necessary to meet business requirements and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative and flexible approach to decision making balanced with an ability to stand firm to promote compliance and control.
  • Organizational skills to manage priorities and competing
  • Ability to work independently, lead by example and demonstrate good interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, solid computer skills, familiar with software applications
  • Decisiveness, attention to detail, able to influence, engage and motivate at all levels
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
  • Possess/maintain a valid State driver's license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
  • Must be flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Specific shifts to be determined by administrative staff due to operational needs.
  • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during irregular operation.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather.
