You Will

  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Maintains good relations with customers.
  • Work in a safe manner to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.
  • Comply with all HACCP/GMP and dnata catering sanitation and proper food handling policies and procedures.
  • Comply with federal, state and/or Company requirements to secure and maintain any special licenses.
  • Effectively communicate between Dispatch, Flight Administrators, CDL-Drivers, and management.
  • Ensure arrival at airport is punctual while keeping safety a priority, avoid delays and lapses
  • Ensure that the requirements of hygiene, quality, and safety standards are fulfilled
  • Ensure that vehicle fueling, and associated procedures are adhered according to company policy.
  • Other tasks may be added or removed by Management according to business requirements.
  • Comply with all related trainings for this role.
  • Load & unload trucks to and from the Aircraft.
  • Maintains good relations with customers.
  • Work in safe manner to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You Have

  • Have a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to understand, read, communicate, and write in English.
  • The ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a PANYNJ (Port Authority), Port ID (per TSA regulations and more specifically, 49 CFR §1542.209).
  • Must be RELIABLE – PRESENTABLE – PROFESSIONAL
  • Able to work with others as a TEAM PLAYER.
  • Must have Basic Math skills
  • Able to work closely with customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer knowledge of Microsoft programs: OUTLOOK, EXCEL, WORD,
  • All applicants are subject to a criminal history background check & drug testing check per regulations of the US Customs & Border Protection Access and DOT.
  • This is a fast-paced environment that requires a hands-on approach to catering needs.
  • Schedule flexibility and availability to work various shifts including night shifts, weekends and holidays is a must.

Intellectual/Social demands:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits.  Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including: following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant use of interpersonal skills including: being able to recognize and resolve conflicts, being able to openly communicate in writing and verbally with customers.

 

Physical demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

 

Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold/heat (weather), heights and loud noise
