You Will

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis oversees corporate financial analysis, planning, and strategy.  You will oversee, manage, and develop  business models that affect budgets and pricing models. You will direct a team and personally prepare operational forecasts and develop month-end and quarterly reporting. 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain planning and analysis capability through people and processes.
  • Provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Company’s portfolio of businesses.
  • Routinely communicate business unit and company consolidated financial and operational performance trends, both historical and forecasted, by using appropriate metrics.
  • Analyze business metrics and outcomes to suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications.
  • Coordinate the capital spending review process for the company.
  • Influence the accuracy and effectiveness of the corporate accounting consolidation and closing process through analytical review and trend analysis.
  • Develop and execute processes to allow for routine analytical reviews of company financial and operational performance
  • Leverage business unit analytical resources and tools
  • Lead the strategic aspects of the annual operating plan and budget process for the company
  • Prepare presentations in support of board meetings, monthly/quarterly senior leadership
  • Coordinate capital review meetings, pre-review vetting process and aspects of formal capital expense documentation.
  • Support the strategic business planning process
  • Support Analysis, risk evaluation, managing risks, forecasting economic trends, enforcing policies and guidelines throughout the company, and managing any other related projects. 
  • Testing, extracting, and expansion of data.
  • Developing reports.
  • Perform financial analysis 
  • Lead projects and teams as needed.
  • Recommendation of fiscal changes and measures. 
  • Utilization of fiscal tools, models, and reports 
  • Drafting, reviewing and analyzing budgets
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

You Have

  • CPA or CA preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field and 5-10 years' related experience
  • Knowledge of office technology, proficiency with accounting software, computer skills in Excel  QuickBooks, ERP systems.
  • Background in Process optimization, business efficiency, analysis of processes/procedures
  • Experience in Strategic and analytical planning
